Dr. Piper Kilpatrick is the Medical Director for Heritage Valley SportsCare.
What is Heritage Valley SportsCare Program?
A panel of highly trained and experienced local sports medicine healthcare providers organized to evaluate and treat all of your sports medicine needs. Our program focuses on coordinated care for the injured athlete and offers a support system for the local athletic community through Heritage Valley Health System.
How does it work?
An injured athlete or weekend warrior, coach or parent calls the SportsCare Line: (724) 770-0416.
Your call is promptly answered and we will coordinate a visit to the appropriate medical specialty or arrange an appointment to see Dr. Kilpatrick for an evaluation.
What types of problems are treated?
Orthopedic and medical conditions related to any field of sports medicine can either be evaluated in our office or through a direct referral to a member of the SportsCare Panel. The Heritage Valley SportsCare Panel includes (but is not limited to) the following medical specialties: Cardiology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Podiatry, Oral Surgery, Dentistry, Ophthalmology.
How does this benefit me?
The biggest advantage of the SportsCare Program over traditional healthcare delivery is the ability to rapidly and efficiently access the proper medical sub-specialist who understands the specific needs of competitive athletes (and active individuals).
I’m not injured, but I have questions.
